S. P. Sharan is a PhD student in ECE since Fall 2022, co-advised by Dr. Sandeep Chinchali and Dr. Atlas Wang. He holds a B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from NIT Trichy, India.

Sharan’s broad interests include deep learning, computer vision, and robotics. He currently works on symbolic reasoning, reinforcement learning, transformers, and NeRFs.

Outside of research, he describes himself as follows:
“your average tech devout, professional procrastinator, linux nerd, and serial side project two-timer”
